Application Information

Doppler UT meter for dirty, chemically aggressive or aerated liquids

Examples: Waste water, slurries, sludge, acids, caustics, solvents, viscous liquids, abrasives and lubricating liquids - liquids containing bubbles or solids larger than 100 microns and in concentration greater than 75 ppm.

½” to 180” diameter pipe
0.25 to 40 feet per second (fps) flow rate range
PVC, carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, fibreglass, ABS pipe material
Pipe surface to 200 F or 93 C. (using high temperature sensor 302 F or 150 C)

We require:

Direct access to the outside of the pipe wall. Any insulation would need to be removed.
Full pipe flow.
Certain straight line distances from pumps, valves, and fittings.
